Project Description:
“Storytelling for Change: My Local Issue, My Voice in Action is an international storytelling project that empowers young people to explore issues that matter in their communities and share their ideas for positive change through storytelling.
Over a 6–7 week journey, participants learn the key elements of storytelling while identifying a local issue, examining its impact, and developing a story that highlights possible solutions or actions. Through interaction with peers from different countries, students strengthen their communication, critical thinking, creativity, and global citizenship skills.
The project culminates in a final storytelling showcase where participants present stories that connect local experiences with global understanding and inspire meaningful action.
Classes are matched by the facilitator with other classrooms to collaborate. “
