Our Projects
We’re the Most Experienced Leader in Global Education
Our project-based education model was recognized by the World Economic Forum as one of the most innovative education models in the world! Through it, K-12 students can work on projects together using a safe and structured online environment with an inclusive and culturally diverse community of global-minded teachers and learners.
Our online Collaboration Centre can also be used as a forum for peer review and the sharing of student writing and other works.
Every iEARN project has to answer the question, “how will this project improve the quality of life on the planet?” That purpose is the glue that holds iEARN together. Through participation in iEARN projects, students develop the habit of working collaboratively with their counterparts locally and globally and come to understand the positive role they can play in their communities.
About Project Categories
iEARN projects are designed and facilitated by teachers in our network who teach STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), Creative & Language Arts, or Social Studies. These iEARN educators from across the globe have designed iEARN projects based on what they do in their classes and what they know works for students.
The project activities and recommendations are designed to support and enhance a teacher’s core curriculum. They are intentionally designed to allow teachers autonomy to decide what standards they cover within the project while simultaneously engaging the students in reflection, inquiry, and cross-cultural exploration that lead to global competencies.
STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics): Our STEM projects utilize an inquiry-based approach to support students in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math classes.
Creative & Language Arts: Our Creative & Language Arts projects incorporate literacy, writing, and/or the creative arts to support students in English Language Arts, Reading, or Arts classes.
Social Studies: Our Social Studies projects incorporate project-based learning to support students as they learn about issues that impact their community and the world.
